There is a certain timeline I wish I had the balls to revisit 
To assert myself and advocate for the things that I didn't 
Trying my hardest to not be so obvious and be subtle 
There would be timelines where I would be trouble 

Odd isnt it that I am sure you could care less
Obviously there were moments caught up in bliss 
Or is it a shadow of convenience gasping between kiss
Oh it could be that I was just a thing for you to play with 

Other than proximity a bit of what if mystery
On the contrary you just wanted to talk at me 
Open up about your traumas, past mistakes and-
One-sided substance numbing monologues 

Don't know what this means 
Don't know where it's going 
Damnmit I know just about next to nothing 
Did they get to you, did I get your attention
